That said, the first 2 digits are 95 which would seem to indicate the year. It also seems a little weird that the serial number would only be a sticker. Problem is, this 9-digit number lacks a letter prefix which I thought was supposed to be the way for this era of amp. The only thing seemingly like a serial number I can find is a white barcode sticker that sits just to the left of the Marshall logo on back. ![]() Mitch has since introduced a number of Colby and Park amps that have already been added to the tone. Typically, how are the '90s serial numbers applied - is it a stamped plate that is affixed to the chassis or transformer? (there's a rectangular patch of glue on the left transformer where it looks like something used to be). I bought it used and I typically record the serial # of all new purchases in a handy file. As posted earlier, I recently bought a terrific sounding Marshall JTM 610 (this is the 3X10 combo).
